Work in progress

Study of the Island sailing club vessel moored in the estuary near Salcombe, the one time ferry has been the home to many a sailer. Providing training and accommodation to its visitors for many years. It is now in some danger of being lost, the vessel is in a sorry state its former glory still visible but hidden behind its external hide, the boat is a large steel hulk and in need of some TLC its this that drew me to the subject, it's a source of history and a place that is deep in the minds of the many visitors to Salcombe over the years. The light is going to shine off the side of this vessel as if lite up in a direct beam of sunlight on a cloudy day a hopeful image for the questionable future in Salcombe.

Finished commission and actually hung it for the first time

Below is a 6ft X 4ft oil on canvas painting completed and hung today. It's the first time I've ever hung a painting myself in five years of selling from my Salcombe gallery. It looked great really rewarding to see where my work lives and how it fits into someone's life!
Oh yeah Merry Xmas
